The horse – what a marvelous animal. How lucky we all are to have
this wonderful relationship with such a magnificent creature. With
domestication, the horse has become increasingly more dependent on
humans. From this notion a conscious level of what we call Horse
Welfare exists. Jeff and I decided that we would like to donate a
perpetual trophy to the OHJA that would be awarded annually to the
person that exhibited Excellence in Horse Welfare.
