Nancy Wild Medal Finals

Lake Oswego Hunt would like to thank everyone who took part in the inaugural Nancy Wild Medal Final at LOH on September 26, 2009. The Medal Series created in memory of former trainer, Nancy Wild, allows riders to accumulate points throughout the year. Riders with qualifying points compete in the Finals. Jenna Powell won the Hunter Medal on Corrie Hulmes' horse Lickety Split and Dani LeVine won the Jumper Medal on her horse Zanzibar. They each won a $500 gift certificate to Gallops and a custom embroidered jacket.

The two Medal winners competed in the ride off. Judges Steve Sandville and Lynn Dennis had the riders switch horses for the ride off, which brought the audience to their feet. Jenna Powell was named Champion and was presented the custom saddle generously donated by County Saddlery. County Saddlery and Gallops, like all our sponsors, understand the principles of the Nancy Wild Medals... that good riding begins with a good foundation.
