Important Reminders:
If you have joined or renewed your membership and your name is not included on the list of current members for 2012, please contact Melanie. It is important to note with regard to OHJA’s three-tier system that it is each member’s responsibility to verify his/her tier designation on the list of current members.

A description of the three-tier system is included in the 2011 OHJA Revised Rules and Bylaws. Please note that moving from the local tier to the regional or open tier during the year requires an additional fee, which is designated on the OHJA membership application. You can read a letter from Kathy Hall regarding the changes here.

All owners/lessees and riders must be current OHJA members at the time the horse is shown in order to accumulate points toward year end awards. To facilitate the correct recording of your points for year end awards, please make sure the owner, rider and horse registration names used on your renewal application are identical to the names shown on USEF records. Each rider competing in an OHJA medal class must have a current OHJA membership before showing and must be prepared to present proof of membership (cancelled check or current membership card) before the class begins.
