Junior Equestrian FundThe Junior Equestrian Fund (JEF) was established to provide financial support for OHJA riders 21 years and under who compete at regional or national medal finals events, such as Young Rider and USET classes. Each year JEF members work together at fundraisers to raise money for the fund. Past fundraisers have included horse show carrot sales, raffles and the production and sale of OHJA member directories. Additionally, proceeds from food sales at local Cornerstone Equestrian hunter/jumper shows are donated to JEF. For consideration as a JEF fund recipient, the applying young rider must make a formal application to the OHJA board and must have participated in current year fundraising activities to raise money for the fund. Applications for JEF financial aid may be submitted to the Board during the fall of each calendar year. For more information regarding the application process, please contact Lorna Lowrie, the OHJA Secretary. If you are interested or want to get more involved in JEF, please contact one of your Junior Representatives:
